Also, Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan series books. For those who like romantic suspense I would recommend any and all books by Suzanne Brockmann, Karen Robards, Iris Johansen (Eve Duncan series), Shannon K. Butcher (No Regrets), Linda Howard, Roxanne St. Claire, Carlene Thompson. For those who like historicals, Julie Garwood's The Bride, The Lion's Lady, and Guardian Angel. For contemporary with humor - any of Susan Elizabeth Phillips books - and Jennifer Crusie's Bet Me. I loved that book! :)annalisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06716147005742855620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35532892.post-58688532145990178522008-04-20T15:11:00.000-07:002008-04-20T15:11:00.000-07:00My selection would be Andrea Kane for contemporary...My selection would be Andrea Kane for contemporary romantic suspense,Luanne Rice for romance, Stacey Kane for Western Historicals, Eloise James for historicals and paranormals would be J.R. And what type of book they're looking for. So many people are critical about romances, I'd want to pick the best one possible.
If they wanted a really hot book, and liked paranormals ... well, vampires I'd go with Lover Eternal by JR Ward. Witches? Witch Fire by Anya Bast. Shifters? Either Tanner's Scheme by Lora Leigh or Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh.
Hot contemporary? Champagne Rules by Susan Lyons (it's also interracial), or Nauti Nights by Lora Leigh.
For a great contemporary... Breathing Room by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Something more light hearted and very humorous? Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie.
Historical? I'd go with Dreaming of You by Lisa Kleypas.
Romantic Suspense... not my thing - but I've heard great things about Unlawful Contact by Pamela Clare- and you have to give props to and promote a woman who was willing to spend a night in jail for her research.
For an anthology... the Bad Boys of Summer by Lori Foster, Erin McCarthy, and HelenKay Dimon.
Unfortunately... no categories. I love them, but the "romance stigma" goes way too strongly to harlequin.
:X I can't think of more subcategories right now.limecellohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16331447498798826649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35532892.post-14395313834383159142008-04-18T14:27:00.000-07:002008-04-18T14:27:00.000-07:00i recomd leslie kelly blazes, so hot , lori foster...i recomd leslie kelly blazes, so hot , lori foster is awesome

kim hAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35532892.post-84677223447159209782008-04-18T14:22:00.000-07:002008-04-18T14:22:00.000-07:00I would recommend any of Susan Elizabeth Phillip's...I would recommend any of Susan Elizabeth Phillip's or Janet Evanovich.
