We had an early freeze in late September. Recently we had 3 days of mid-60's-70's... Indian Summer. The Fall color peaked where we live around October 4th.

I'd love to read your book THE RUSSIAN'S ACQUISITION. I Liked the excerpt. Clair seems to have her hands full with Aleksy's ultimatum!

I prepare for winter by putting plastic on all the windows in my house. I rake the whole yard of leaves and pine needles. My husband sweeps the roof off first. We bring our pier and raft in. We caulk the windows and doors. We put away the lawnmower and all the gardening supplies. We winter feed our lawn. I cut back my plants and dig out some of the bulbs. I put my summer clothes away and get out my jackets, parkas, scarves, hats, mittens, gloves and sweaters. I start making stews and casseroles and freeze them.

Christmas- I start shopping and thinking about gift ideas. We don't buy a tree until the first week of December.Laurie Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12533221100348874087noreply@blogger.com
