Q&A with KATE HILL who tells us about FEASTING WITH THE ENEMY

1. Tell us about your release. Tease us with a blurb!

Feasting With the Enemy is the last story in the Scarlet Nights vampire series. It takes place in my Blood and Soul world and includes several characters who have appeared in other books set in that world.

After more than a century sharing a bed and fighting at each other's backs, vampire warriors Blair and May have forged an unbreakable bond.

Now the mysterious New Reign is seeking additional members. Their philosophy--recruit or destroy. Using mind manipulation, they stir up dark memories from the past to tempt Blair and May into killing each other.

Given the chance to resurrect his murdered first wife and children, will Blair now sacrifice the woman he loves--his wife and blood child, May?

2. Name five things (not research notes) that are on your desk right now.

My exercise tracker notebook, my phone, a basset hound figurine, a toy walking eyeball and a tiny stuffed beaver.

3. What’s the best advice (writing or personal) that anyone has ever given you?

You can't please everyone. Trite but true.

4. What is your writing day like?

I write some during the day, but most of my work is done at night. I also try to stick to a goal, even if it's a small one like 1000 words a day.

5. If you could have dinner anywhere with any five authors, dead or alive, which five would you choose?

Probably Alexandre Dumas, Oscar Wilde, Gaston Leroux, Jules Verne and H.G. Wells.

6. If you weren’t writing, what other career would you have?

Just about any that pays the bills. For me writing is more a way of life than a career.

7. Finally….tell us how we can connect with you online.
