Q & A with Ella Grey!!!
1. Tell us about your newest release.
My latest release with Breathless Press is part of their flirt line. It tells the story of Fiona Fire-Tongue, a thief and witch. This is the perfect story for anyone who likes their fiction bite sizes and memorable.
2. What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your story?
That you should never cross paths with a witch. Those women hold a grudge.
3. Do you have any interesting or quirks or rituals?
Not really. I really like to listen to music when I write but I have an eclectic taste in music depending on what I write. I put together a special playlist for Fiona's story and something I can go back to when I write more stories in her series.
4. What authors or friends influenced you in helping you become a writer?
I've been influenced and inspired by writers. Stephen King's On Writing has been a great help.
5. What does your family think about your career as a published author?
They are really proud of me.
6. Besides writing, what other interests do you have?
I've been ready Hunted by Megg Jensen and baking cupcakes for my son.
7. Can you tell us what is coming up next for you?
I'm planning on writing the third instalment to my Black Paw Pack series. There will also be more stories set in Fiona's world as I think it has a lot of potential.
8. How can readers connect with you online?
I can be found at http://www.ellagrey.wordpress.com, which I try to update weekly and on Facebook, http://www.facebook.com/ellagrey83
There is nothing Fiona Fire-Tongue won’t do for revenge. Even make a deal with the Goddess of the Underworld.
It was supposed to be simple. Just break into a vampire’s office and steal a gem. With an unwanted partner in tow, it may get complicated. The air elemental has plans of his own, but he’s about to learn that if you piss off a fire witch it is at your own peril.
He was a good-looking guy, no doubt about it. A Sylph, which meant he was more element held together by will than a flesh and blood human. Light blue hair was brushed away from an angular face and piercing eyes that matched his hair. Elementals weren't tied to any particular shape but the one he'd chosen had an interesting effect on something a lot lower than my heart. He'd managed to charm his way right into my bed and became my partner for my current plan.
It had bad idea written all over it.
Ella Grey likes to tell stories which feature very human characters, even if those characters sprout fur or can conjure fire with a click of their fingers. Ella has been writing for over a decade and is published with four houses.
She currently lives in the UK with her son, partner, and cat. She rarely sleeps and can often be found with a cup of coffee in one hand and her other hand on the keyboard.
