I'm thinking Jack the hero in Robyn Carr's Virgin River. Being an ex-marine he would be resourceful in keeping us fed. Plus he is so steadfast in his love.

I'd have to pick Roarke from J.D.Robb's In Death series. Not only is he hot, but he's very resourceful and you wouldn't have to worry about anything.

I'm with Linda. I'd prefer to be "stranded" with Roarke, because we'd be off that island (which he would probably own) in no time.
I would choose one of the princes from Olivia Gates's "The once and Future Prince" series because they are so masculine but also have heroic qualities

I would have to choose Roarke, also. He most likely owns the island and his employees will find him----we would be rescued ASAP.
I would choose Gabe from Cindy Gerard's Black Ops Inc. books. He was in the military and would know how to keep us alive and survive on a desert island.
Curran from Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels series because he is fierce and protective of those he loves.

Probably Alex Sinclair from my current read, Save the Date by Jenny B. Jones. He's strong because he's an ex-athlete and he's also very protective emotionally, so I know I'd be safe.

I love Eli from A marriage Minded Man because he is dashing and also very responsible.

I would chose Lucas from Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series. He would be a great protector.
Well I don't know if this counts but Romeo is probably the ultimate hero to take because he is all romantic and charming!~
