Guest Blogger: Tracy Wolff (with a giveaway)

The “edgy and erotic” (Shannon McKenna, New York Times bestselling author of Tasting Fear) author of Tie Me Down and Full Exposure offers another steamy novel of sex, lies, and sultry games.

Burned once too often, true crime writer Lacey Richards has sworn off love. Instead, she explores her deepest desires through her anonymous- and very provocative-blog. Anonymous, that is, until her dark and ultrasexy neighbor discovers her dirty secret.

Stockbrocker-turned-carpenter Byron Hawthorne gave up life in the fast lane, hoping to start over in a new city. When he learns his alluring neighbor is the one writing the sizzling blog that keeps him up all night, he can’t resist offering to fulfill her fantasies in the flesh. But Byron isn’t the only man provoked by Lacey’s writing. Now Lacey doesn’t know who she can trust-and who she can dare to tease.

I love games—all kinds of games. From board games to video games to card games to interactive games, I love them all.

I was an only child of older parents, who spent a lot of time playing with me. My mom taught me card games like Gin and Go Fish, Old Maid and eventually bridge while my father taught me to strategize with board games like Risk and Stratego and chess. Add to that the fact that we had full size arcade games in our game room (Ms. Pacman and Space Invaders) and an Atari game system long before anyone else in the neighborhood did, I guess you could say it was predetermined that I would love to play games.

Now that I’m a grown-up (which my husband would say is debatable) I too love to play games. I have three sons and whether I’m playing Wii with my oldest or hide and seek with my youngest, I still love the thrill of the chase—and, of course, the rush I get from winning.

The love of games—and winning--is why, when I sat down to write Tease Me, my third erotic suspense and a Romantic Times 4 ½ Star, Top Pick, I spent a lot of time concentrating on the fun and games aspect of the story, as well as the suspense side of it. As the story progresses, my hero, Byron, is determined to fulfill my heroine’s fantasies one experience at a time. From sexy strip games of Seven Questions to sly blog entries and a little voyeuristic teasing, these two run the gamut of sultry experiences—and have a great time doing it. In between the games, they manage to investigate a human trafficking ring, bring down some very shady characters and—of course—fall in love.

So, what kind of games do you like to play? I’m still a sucker for Risk, but I also love Clue and Spades and Hide and Seek. I also have a soft spot for a rousing game of Go Fish ;) Leave a comment for a chance to win a copy of Tease Me.

Sounds like a great read and I love the cover!

I love to play Clue, Monopoly and Scrabble.

I've never really had anyone to play board games with me growing up...there was the occasional companionship playing Scrabble, Candyland, Monopoly or Snakes & Ladders...I think Scrabble was the most fun for me since I could always entertain myself with it...another fave Trivial Pursuits.

Love the premise of your book, Tracy! :)
I love easy card games as well. It's hard for me to turn down (and even harder to lose say a game of euchre). Then, I'm currently re-obsessed with free cell.
And I love the mindless "puzzle" games like bubble spinner, lucky balls, mind the blox, and those type games. Horribly addicting.

Hi Ladies,

I must admit I do like Risk, but unless you are playing with a lot of people it isn't any fun. My husband and I have Bejeweled and Canasta wars. We actually went out and bought a notepad late one night to keep tally. We are vicious with each other!

I like board games better than card games. My favorites are Clue, Scrabble and Battleship. I was never very good at video games but back in the 80's when Nintendo first came out, I enjoyed watching my son play Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda. I was his cheering section!

Hi everyone, how are you? Thanks for all the great comments-- you reminded me of a lot of games I've forgoten.

CallMeKayla-- my oldest son is a monopoly junkie, and it's gotten so we won't play with

Kim-- You said the magic word. I'm ADDICTED to tetris. OMG, so not even kidding.

Sue A, s7anna, Kathleen, Raz Lover's Book Blog-- I love scrabble. But then, I love words.

Karen H. My boys love Super MArio for Wii. I watch them all the time.

Crystal GB-- I used to play spades for hours in college. My best friend, boyfriend and his best friend would sit around playing until 3 or 4 in the morning. I miss that.

Elaing8-- I'm scared to try mahjongg. I hear it's totally addictive.

Natasha, I've never played RPG, but I've dated a lot of guys in school who did. Very cool.

Laurie, some of my favorite memories are playing Sorry with my mom, and now my middle son :)

cait045, you need to give me some poker tips. No matter how many people have tried, I am just terrible at it. Seriously terrible. I don't know why. Maybe because I can't bluff.

Mariska, I've played with so many hot wheels that I should get my very own set.

Book Junkie, I love Canasta. My parents used to play all the time.

Limecello, you're killing me. I just kicked my Free Cell addiction and now I'm thinking, hmmm, one game wouldn't hurt ...LOL

Ina, my little one is a champion hide and seek player. It's so much fun.

Prashant-- PC games are fun. What are your favorites?

Alread have Tease Me on my wish list, Tracy, the more I read about it the more I want it.

My husband and I get absolutely vicious when we play Monopoly. We complain about the price of the rooms and the cockroaches... ;) You get the idea!

Hi Tracy!

We try to do a game night once a week at my house, a little harder now that my oldest is 22 and not home often but when she is we love to play things like Clue (just got the Harry Potter edition at Christmas) and the kids love to play Scene It and Uno. Monopoly is fun too but a certain daughter can get greedy and everyone gets mad at her so we usually don't last too long with that one!

Please don't enter me for the book, I already have it! :)

If I could make a career from playing games I would lol. I love most of them - really lol. I'm recently hooked on a card game called sock and shoe (reminds me of canasta). There are too many to name but a few would be Risk, Hearts, Tripoly, Balderdash, Uno, Skippo, Sorry, Wii, Boggle, poker, computer games - bejeweled is my favorite. I taught my girls how to play all kinds of games early on - and I never let them win unless they really did win lol. They too love playing all kinds and there was never any cheating or feeling they had to win but just the love of playing. Your book sounds wonderful!

I personally love word and letter games--just pulled out our copy of Boggle Master and am trying to hook the kids ;) We also spent part of our latest vacation playing speed Scrabble--fun! ;) I'm terrible with strategy games though, and card games that involve skill! Not a card shark here!

When I was a child, the one game we children could not play together was Monopoly. It always ended in a screaming fight.

Years later, my niece (age 8) and nephew (age 4) wanted to play Monopoly with me. I told the other adults that this would not end well, but no one would listen. Of course, the boy ended up hitting his sister, me and everything else with the lid of the box while screaming in rage. *sigh*

All other games are fine though. I have many fond memories of playing Clue and Risk with my siblings and cousins. Card games are also fun especially during those rainy days during summer camp (spit) and late nights in college (hearts). Now, of course, there are online games, which is how I prefer to do crossword puzzles since there is no need for an eraser. :)

I love playing mah jogg! I'm totally hooked on that! I did have a solitaire game that had 101 games on it and I had myself learn them all! I used to play Scrabble with friends Friday nights til they moved and that was a blast. So good you can play online now to find people to play with but its good too to do it the old fashion way!
