Book Giveaway: Lord of the Forest by Dawn Thompson

"Pagan revelers dance naked to the music of flute and lyre, their bodies golden in the firelight, inviting the lord of their deepest desires to appear from the shadows. Marius soon comes, his tall, muscular body changing in the dark of the moon - is he man or animal? Or the best of both? Only Linnea, the beautiful goddess of the hunt, shall see his true self. His ultimate transformation will ensnare her - and his matchless erotic skill will ensure her amorous surrender. Retreating to a hidden bower of pleasure, they are at last alone. And Marius brings her to the heights of sexual ecstasy...again and again and again... "

As many of us know, Dawn Thompson passed away a little over a year ago. It made me wonder about authors we no longer hear from...whether they passed away or just stopped writing.

Who do you miss? Post away for a chance to win a copy of Lord of the Forest! I announce the winner later in the week.

I think I miss Kathleen Woodiwiss the most. Her work is classic historical romance and an inspiration to many of today's most popular romance authors.

I miss Norah Hess, I am not sure whatever happened to her, I do know she had carpal tunnel syndrome and had problems writing her books. I have all hers (keepers) but I think one of her oldest book from the 70s.

And I miss Ronda Thompson it seems just as I was started to get into her books she passed on. I am sure there are other authors I am forgetting.

I don't recall reading any Dawn Thompson books but the book sounds really good and the cover is sure an eye catcher. ;)
