Promo and Q&A: ROCCO by SARAH CASTILLE

1.  Tell us about your release.
Rocco is the third book in a full-length, standalone contemporary romance series set in Las Vegas and featuring deliciously sexy mafia bosses and the women who can’t help but love them.
Mafia enforcer Rocco De Lucchi is the best in the business. Cold, hard, and utterly ruthless, Rocco is the most dangerous of men. Feelings are a luxury he cannot afford―until a chance encounter brings him face to face with the only woman who found her way into his heart and touched his soul.
Grace Mantini has spent her whole life running from the mob. The daughter of the boss's right-hand man, she is both a prize and a target. When Rocco walks back into her life, she wants nothing to do with the man who betrayed her and broke her heart. But only Rocco can protect her from the dangerous forces that seek to destroy her family. Can they escape the hands of fate closing around them? Or will love be the kiss of death for them both?

2.  Without giving away any spoilers, give us a hint about a favorite scene.

My favourite scene is the marriage proposal at the end (no spoiler because it's a romance and you know you're going to get an HEA!) which is as far from the kind of proposal Grace has always imagined.

3.  When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

I've always been a storyteller, whether it was making up stories for my younger sisters or writing creative fiction for our local library.

4. What is a typical writing day like?

I try to get in a few hours while the kids are at school, although there seems to be a crisis every day so I snatch whatever time I can. My best writing time is at night when everyone is in bed and I have only the owls in the forest outside for company.

5. Do you have an interesting writing quirk or habit?

I never clear off my desk until I finish a book. By the time I type THE END, the surface has disappeared!

6. What has been one of the most surprising things you’ve learned as a published author?

The enthusiasm, generosity and loyalty of my romance reader fans took me by surprise. I have received some lovely gifts and very touching emails and letters about the stories I have written, especially when they have resonated in some way.

7. What authors or friends influenced you in helping you become a writer?

Tawny Stokes was an incredible mentor from the start, as were all the romance writers in CARWA (the Calgary Romance Writers Association) who gave me so much encouragement when I decided to pursue publication.

8. What does your family think about your career as a published author?

They love seeing my books in the bookstores and they have been very encouraging and supportive, although my tweens would prefer it if I wrote books they could read!

9. Besides writing, what other interests do you have?

I love traveling and hiking and when the weather is warm you can find me in my kayak out on the ocean!

10. Can you tell us about what’s coming up next for you writing wise?

I have a new series of short novellas coming out in Spring featuring couples in crisis, and the fifth book in my Redemption MMA series will be out next July.

11. How can readers connect with you online?

I love to hear from readers. You can find me here:
