Juliet Chastain talks to us about CLASS REUNION

1. Tell us about your newest release.

My latest release is called Class Reunion.
After years apart Dana and Nicholas meet again at their class reunion, each hoping the other will feel more than friendship. Their desire ignites a frenzy of passion, but their horrible ex-classmates keep getting in the way.
When the class beauty queen makes a play for Nicholas, Dana has had enough. No longer is she the shy, awkward teen she used to be...and she's determined to show Nicholas just how much she's grown up.

2. What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your story?

I began to wonder how some of the more horrible of my classmates turned out. None of them was as awful as Dana’s and Nicholas’ were!

3. Do you have any interesting or quirks or rituals?

I love to read about other writers' routines--I've heard it called writer's porn. II suspect I’m fascinated because I’ve had such trouble myself with trying to find the schedule that works for me. At the moment I’ve settled on get-up-brush-teeth-get-back–in-bed-with-computer-and-write. I do that until I’m embarrassed to not be dressed and get up. I wrote a short piece for Savvy about this very subject http://savvyauthors.com/blog/ on Jan 18.

4. What authors or friends influenced you in helping you become a writer?

My sister who is an editor at a metropolitan newspaper encouraged me to go ahead and give writing a try. She told me, "Just write as though you are talking to a friend," advice which has stood me in good stead.

5. What does your family think about your career as a published author?

I think they wish I'd chosen to write in a more respectable genre than erotic romance.

6. Besides writing, what other interests do you have?

I adore the beach, I love to swim in the ocean and I have the good fortune to live where I can indulge. I went in yesterday but, brrrr, I didn't stay long.

7. Can you tell us what is coming up next for you?

A couple of my fans suggested I write some pure erotica as a change from the sweet and sexy stories I usually write, so I just published three short little books of erotica--the Kink, Inc. series. Good for sexy bedtime reads. I have excerpts and buy links at www.julietchastain.com
Next I’m working on a cougar story--Beach Boy. I got the idea when a gorgeous too-young (?) surfer boy started chatting me up on the beach…

8. How can readers connect with you online?

 Author Bio:

Ex-fashion photographer Juliet Chastain says that, in a way, writing fiction is like photography. You have a few elements—the models and the clothes in fashion, a character or two and an idea in fiction—and you make them into an interesting story. Juliet loves to do that, and if she isn't shooting a story with her camera, she's writing one with her keyboard.

Juliet writes short romances—everything from the tale of a sweet-natured werewolf rescuing a nice woman in a bad situation, to that of a passionate gypsy singer disdaining a lord's riches. Then for those want only the naughtiest bits, there's Miss V of the Kink, Inc, series whose behavior would be banned in twenty states.
