Win a $15 Amazon or BN gift card!

Photobucket

Decided to help you get a head start on the holiday shopping by giving away a $15 Amazon or BN giftcard.

For those of us in the United States, Thanksgiving is nearly upon us. It made me think about Black Friday and all the shopping that goes on until the big day.....

Most folks have too much and others have very little. But what is the one thing you cannot live without? It has to be an object and not a person or thought.

So tell us, what thing can you positively not live without?

One entry per person but you can comment more than once. Good luck! Winner will be announced around next Thursday.

Edited to add...Yes, I said not a person, so family doesn't count. Thank you to those who picked an object. I know family (and kids) are already important.  A no brainer, but I was looking for an object.

A thing. That is easy, Carmex chapstick. And the kind in a tube that isn't in stick form. I am addicted to it and feel like my lips will crack off if I have to go a day with out it. I always have one in my purse, one in the car, one in my pocket...and yet there are still days I get to work and can't find one!

Ever happen to you? I hope I am not the only one who looses important things...

Lotion. My skin gets really dry , especially in the winter and I'm constantly slathering lotion on. Of course, i also can;t live without books.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Since you said no person, it has to be my computer so I can keep up on all things related to books.

Happy Thanksgiving.

It would be my computer. I need for my personal and work life and it lets me connect with people.

Books, of course! If I need to specify one book, I'll choose the Bible. Happy Thanksgiving, all.

My computer, I do so much on it, personal and work, so easy and quicker than if I didn't have it.

I definitely could not live without my computer! I am thankful for every day that I don't have a crash, internet interruption, breakdown, or virus, LOL!

One thing that I probably cannot live without is my laptop! I can do so much on there and to be honest, have saved a lot of digital content on it as well.

I cannot live without my mp3 player. Music gets me through my darkest hours. So the medium through which I play music is essential for my sanity. I lost my $150 ipod nano so I had to buy a cheap $10 to sustain myself. It gets me by.

I'd like to amend my entry to say I can't live without my high speed turbo internet connection. Without it, no Netflix, Amazon TV Passes, or computer time!
