Greetings,
all! And thanks, Patti, for letting me
visit everyone at RRT.
It’s been a
Lucky Harbor summer, and great things have been happening with the Chocoholics
trilogy. LUCKY IN LOVE and AT LAST hit
the The New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists, giving me a
huge thrill. I’m so grateful for all the
enthusiasm readers have shown, not simply in putting them there, but for
letting me know their reactions to my books.
The trilogy
starts off with LUCKY IN LOVE. We’ve got a badass ex-Navy SEAL hero trying to go good and a
good-girl heroine looking for a walk on the bad side ... As for who wins that
battle, you’ll have to read the book.
In AT LAST,
we have Matt Bowers, a sexy forest ranger who stops to help a damsel in
distress. Except she’s no damsel in
distress. She’s waitress Amy Michaels, beautiful, tough, jaded … and she is in
desperate need of rescue. She just
doesn’t know it yet. But my favorite
scene is definitely where she has to save Matt – and no I’m not telling you more. :)
In FOREVER
AND A DAY, hero Dr. Josh Scott is on the edge of burnout. He’s got his practice, his young son, his
wheelchair-bound sister, and a crazy puppy.
Not to mention the weight of the world on his shoulders from taking care
of everyone in his life. Enter dog
walker Grace Brooks who, in a turn of events, saves Josh for a change, in more
ways than one.
Lucky In Love and At Last are out now. Forever
And a Day shows up on shelves and ebookstores on 7/31. Hope you get a chance to visit Lucky Harbor! .Join me at my daily blog, Facebook, Twitter,
and Pinterest. I’d love to know what you
think!
Best wishes
and happy reading,
Jill
A big THANK YOU to

New York Times
bestselling author Jill Shalvis received the Romance Writers of America’s
prestigious RITA Award for her first Lucky Harbor novel, Simply Irresistible. Readers have returned again and again to
Lucky Harbor in The Sweetest Thing
and Head Over Heels. Now, they’re enjoying a Lucky Harbor summer with
her three contemporary romances, LUCKY
IN LOVE, AT LAST, and FOREVER AND A DAY, appearing one a
month for three months. The latest, AT
LAST, just released June 26th, has already been highly praised by readers
and reviewers alike. RT Book Reviews
calls it “a winner,” The Book Addicts says it is “funny and touching,” and The
Eclectic Reader hails it as “wonderful.”
In AT LAST, Shalvis tells Amy Michaels’ story.
A waitress at the local diner, tough girl Amy loves her new life in
Lucky Harbor, and is especially grateful for her friends, Mallory and Grace,
who she met when they were trapped together during a snowstorm. Bounced around
since she ran away from home at sixteen, she came to Lucky Harbor on a quest. She’s
going to follow in the footsteps of her beloved grandmother who, years ago,
found hope and peace as she hiked through the nearby forest.
Amy, alone on the
trail, makes a wrong turn and soon has no idea where she is or how she’s going
to find her way home before nightfall.
Fortunately, her cell phone works. Her call for help is answered by Matt
Bowers, town heartthrob and forest ranger, who leads her to safety. Safety being relative, Amy quickly realizes
that now she has to beware of a new danger –the temptation to let down her guard
and trust the ex-cop whose credo is to never let anyone get too close.
Matt can’t deny
their attraction for each other, or that for the first time in a long time he
feels the stirrings of something more—feelings that go beyond memories of an
unforgettable night spent under the stars.
Now he just has to get Amy to see that, no matter what is in their pasts,
they belong together.
With AT LAST, Jill Shalvis again brings
readers with a story filled with the sort of warmth, strong characters and
humor that have made her Lucky Harbor novels national
bestsellers.
ABOUT JILL SHALVIS
New York Times, USA Today
and Publishers Weekly bestselling author Jill Shalvis is the
award-winning author of dozens of romance novels, including her popular Lucky
Harbor books—Simply
Irresistible, The Sweetest
Thing, Head Over Heels,
Lucky in Love, At Last and the upcoming Forever and a Day. She has been
honored with the prestigious Romance Writers of America’s RITA Award for Simply Irresistible, and is a
three-time recipient of the National Readers Choice awards. Recently, her book Animal

A voracious reader of a wide range
of fiction, including romance, Jill aspired to be a journalist. She says “I got sidetracked in college with
journalism, and it took a few years to realize I was meant for fiction, not
nonfiction, but once I got there, I never looked back.” She sold her very first manuscript.
Jill’s writing day begins at six in
the morning so that she can write before her family gets up. She points out that “if I so much as wake up
the dog, it’s over, ” and says her favorite things about writing are “being at
home in my pjs while working, being able to be there for the kids and raiding
the refrigerator whenever I fell like it.”
A “misplaced city girl,” she lives
with her family near Lake Tahoe, where she is working on her next book, writing
her blog and awaiting the July 31 publication of her next Lucky Harbor novel, FOREVER AND A DAY.

Nice picture Jill!
I'd love to read either of your books featuring Matt and Josh's stories. I love your sense of humor. You are such an excellent, proficient writer. I worked a lot this past year, so I've managed to get behind on your books.
My son, Luke and his wife, Amy are currently interning on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Even though they both have masters degrees their dream job is to be a forest ranger. Hope it works out for them.
