We'll probably go on a mini road trip upstate for the weekend. Hopefully we'll have more vacation plans toward the end of summer.

Summer's done where I live --

But I had a great summer of movies and books -- and baking chocolate chip cookies and making a crepe gateau for the first time. ^_^

Have a great summer!

We will start out the summer by visiting my mom in my hometown. She will be celebrating her 88th birthday in a couple of days. We will have my daughter's family visiting us over the July 4th Holiday. The remainder of the summer will be short trips to go to Milwaukee's many festivals like Summerfest and Germanfest.

I hope to relax, swim and read a lot. I'm also excited about visiting and babysitting for my 7 month old grand daughter!!

Unfortunately my summer vacation got canceled due to work :( Is there anything worse than that?

One bright spot is that my brother and his family will be coming to visit in July and I haven't seen them since September of last year. I can't wait for that!

I have not made any summer plans. Just going to be spontaneous. Visit family, spend time with my friends.. Hang out in the backyard with a good book and something long and cool in my hand...
One of my neices's is having a friend visit from Germany and she want to show her where she goes to Unviercity, which is the city I live in, so I will be having them, so we can Isabele on a day of sightseeing through Meninite country...

Reading, of course, is my main pastime but I will be traveling back to Michigan for a few days in mid-July to visit with my children and maybe visit one of the Canadian Casinos with my daughter.

We just got back from our big vacation to Europe, so the rest of the summer will be spent with family, doing home projects, and reading.

I'm going to go on many picnics and hold some barbecues. My family likes visiting parks and taking on the mountain trails. It's going to be an outdoors summer for us.

We have a week at Lake Tahoe in the works, still trying to get everyone's schedule organized. Then a family reunion in August

I'm just going to a bunch of bbq's and food and wine festivals with my friends. Some family members are visiting at the end of July and we'll probably go to the state fair since it's around that time.

Mostly staying home--the kids have a few weeks of camps and some swimming lessons; I'm hoping to clean out some more boxes still left unpacked and get some reading in :)

Happy summer, everyone!

No plans really. Just relaxing, babysitting, getting together with friends, family, going about usual errands etc.

Boring. LOL.

I like many said will be working...no vacation plans here. My husband and I will be celebrating our 30th anniversary, and while we talked about a trip, it never happened. House renovations instead!

This particular weekend I will be going to San Antonio for a bowling trip with my youngest.

We might try to go to Tennessee or Myrtle beach this summer. I plan to read a lot this summer and swim in the pool.

Well, just got back from vacation, so all I have to do now is relax! Haha ;-) Why is vacationing so exhausting?? Fun, but whew! :-)

Just moved, so now hope to relax and get to beach in Rhode Island and some craft fairs and concerts. Got our first hot, very muggy summer day today, then the power was out for hours, probably from all the A/C running all over town.
