Book Giveaway:

SAVOR THE DANGER by Lori Foster
Just out!

Blurb:

The one woman he couldn't have was the only woman he desired…

She may be aloof, and more pretty than gorgeous, but Alani Rivers is the kind of woman a hot-blooded mercenary can't forget, no matter how hard he tries. So when Jackson Savor wakes up next to the naked, sleeping beauty—with no memory of what happened—he knows he's been drugged… even if Alani doesn't.

After she was kidnapped, Alani swore she'd never trust another man again. Still, something about this strong, sexy hero with the tender touch makes her want to believe him. As Jackson hunts downs a mysterious intruder, he swears he'll move heaven and earth to keep Alani safe. But what really happened that night? And will the truth bring them closer than they ever thought possible—or put Alani squarely in harm's way again?

Lori Foster is one of the first authors I started to glom many years ago. I read one of her books and had to read her backlist (which thankfully at the time wasn't long!).

Do you have any authors that are new to you and suddenly you have to get their entire backlist to read?

Post away and I'll announce a winner later in the week (probably Thursday sometime)

Open to US and Canada mailing addresses only due to postage.

Good luck!

Yes! I read my first Eloisa James book a couple of weeks ago and just had to get the rest of her books. I've enjoyed all the ones I've read since then.

I recently discovered Carla Neggers, her genre is romantic suspense/mystery and I gobbled her backlist. I'm not quite there yet, an intentional thing. When it comes to authors I enjoy and their backlist starts to dwindle I tend to savour and slow down. The romance is low-key but the mystery she weaves and suspense really pulls me in.

I was that way with Pamela Clare when I discovered her I Team series, and even worse when I first discovered Lorelei James's Rough Rider series :)

I've been looking forward to this one, thanks for the chance to win!

Susan Anderson, Susan Mallery, Kat Martin and Linda Francis Lee

I read several of Lori's earlier books but I've gotten behind the last few years.

I only recently discover Sarah MacLean. Love her books. I've read 2 so far and have a third on my TBR shelf.

There are others I'm sure, but right off hand, can't remember them now. Except I sometimes (OK, often) buy/acquire as many books as I can by any given author without reading any of them as I get them just because what I've read or heard about their work sounds so good. Kate Noble is a good example...I have 4 of her books waiting their turn to be read! I'll do that..soon...I promise! LOL

Did I say I was a bookaholic?

I don't have any knew authors right now. Money is a little tight so I just stick with authors that I know and love their writing.

Love Lori Foster!
I found a great new author while at the beach. Virginia Brown is one of the funniest authors I've read in a long time. Her books are very descriptive, but very funny to a southerner. We all have someone in our family who does these things. I have only found 2 of her books so far. Dixie Divas and Drop Dead Divas. I recommend them both. Even my collage age daughter found them humorous. We read to each other on the trip home from the beach. She's hooked.

Actually, Lori Foster. I picked up a copy of If You Dare to read poolside, and I finished it in a couple days! I'm now working my way through others she's written, but funds are tight while I'm in school, so I haven't read as many as I wanted!

I read my first Allison Brennan a few weeks ago, and look forward to reading the rest of Book List.

I began to follow Neil Gaiman when I joined Twitter because he was a writer like I wanted to be, even though I'd never read his works. However, as soon as he posted a link to a video series of his last book tour, I instantly loved his Graveyard Book and began to look for his other books. I'm still reading through his enormous oeuvre and anticipate his future works!

For me it would be Charlaine Harris, who writes the Southern Vampire series on which True Blood is based. I loved the HBO series, so had to break down and buy all the books. Then I just flew through them. Another old favorite is Luanne Rice. I had not read her in years, but just bought her more recent back list to get caught up. So many great authors out there.

I was the same way with Lori! I have several authors taht I would like to get their backlist, but don't have the extra money right now. So, slowly I will get them!
