These names came to mind: Gray, Clay, Connor, Jake and names that are shortened last names like Mac or Mitch.

Lucien de Grey in Loretta Chase's Don't Tempt Me. (The Duke of Marchmont)

French names sound so romantic! Luc is nice and short yet masculine sounding.

I'm usually into the hero of whatever book I'm currently reading, but I'm partial to heroes named Jake or Jack. Another that comes to mind is Remy from Sydney Croft's ACRO series. That was one I read recently, and I think he'll stick with me for a while. And of course I have a special place in my heart for heroes named Rhys, because that's my son's name.

I like strong-sounding names: Jake, Luke, Zach. I'm drawing a blank on any particularly memorable hero name, though.
