One of my favorite heroes is Arden, Lord Winter from Kinsale's, The Dream Hunter. I have only come across one Arden so far in 10+ yrs of romance reading!

These names came to mind: Gray, Clay, Connor, Jake and names that are shortened last names like Mac or Mitch.

French names sound so romantic! Luc is nice and short yet masculine sounding.
I'm usually into the hero of whatever book I'm currently reading, but I'm partial to heroes named Jake or Jack. Another that comes to mind is Remy from Sydney Croft's ACRO series. That was one I read recently, and I think he'll stick with me for a while. And of course I have a special place in my heart for heroes named Rhys, because that's my son's name.

I like the nicknames Stephanie Laurens gave the Cynsters. Then there is my all-time favorite hero Rhett Butler!
