Out now from Berkley

Blurb:

Bound by passion, branded by love, brazen enough to take it all…

In the wilds of Oklahoma, three sisters have a hot date with destiny. Valerie, Brea, and Jolene McMasters reunite on the family ranch that should have been called the Bar Nothing…

Bound

When Valerie left for the big city, she kissed her foreman husband, Mason, goodbye—along with the best sex she ever had. Now, seeing him brings back sizzling memories. But their rekindled fire threatens to burn them both.

Branded…

Watching Gage wrangle untamed horses with a gentle but firm touch leaves Brea hot and bothered. But can she live out her fantasy with a man who may ask more than she’s willing to give?

Brazen…

Ranch hand Walker Morgan can’t afford to lose his job by getting too close to his new boss, Jolene, no matter how much she tempts him. But Jolene’s prepared to take the first step, because what Jolene wants, Jolene gets. And Jolene wants Walker.

Yes, this has happened to me. I can't remember the exact book, but there was a steamy scene involving peaches. And I definitely craved peaches after reading that.

I'd have to say, no, not really. I usually read during meals, so maybe that's why not.

For me it was strawberries and whipped cream after reading a rather interesting scene in a book.

While I read the Black Dagger Brotherhood books I always end up wanting some Grey Goose and I'm not really a drinker.

In Robin Schone's Scandalous Lovers they had oysters and champagne, and I wanted to join right along. I remember being hungry for it even after I finished the book.

I was hungry for strawberrys and clotted cream while reading Susan Johnson's A Touch of Sin. They had some food play in that story.

And my all time favorite, tea drinking while reading my historicals. They're always mentioning tea time with their biscuits. LOL, I think I've turned into an Earl Grey aficionado. *g*

I read the comments and was surprised to see pizza listed, because I was thinking when I read where they're eating anything italian it makes me want pizza, spaghetti, or lasagna.

@ joder - I was thinking the same thing - I think it was a Susan Johnson book - was it 'Gorgeous As Sin', maybe? I remember a very hot peaches scene.

I think the last book that actually made me hungry was Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. Ha!

Love Ms Burton's books!

I've so been enjoying these Dove sugar free chocolates lately! I usually savor them while reading now! Especially having read MOUTH TO MOUTH by Erin McCarty this week! She works in a candy store!

Jaci's stories sound DELISH!

However, I've never gotten the urge to eat or drink anything while I'm reading.

@StuffRhysLikes...I think it was a Pamela Morsi western historical. I wish I could positively remember the name because it's been driving me nuts. You and I will have to keep our thinking caps on.

Just count my original comment as an entry. I didn't mean to post again, but I wanted to respond to the poster who conversed with me. I hope that was okay.

If the characters eat a meal that sounds appetizing, I will get hungry for it.

I seem to always crave chocolate when reading or when it's cold, something warm like soup.

If I read a book and their eating pizza or hamburgers then I want it. Every once in awhile I will crave something sweet but not very often. I've also really wanted some Chinese food when I've read about it in a book but that could be because that's my favorite food.
