Blurb:

In this erotic universe, passion knows no rank…

Since the first settlers came through the portals from Earth, fifteen Families have held the rule of the Federated Universes in their hands. There’s never been a better time than now to throw out the old and usher in a new order. Give voice to the unranked. Abbie Haws has spent her life battling the system. A fighter, she’s always been too busy and driven to pay much attention to finding love. But when she’s granted audience with Roman Lyons, the head of House Lyons, who stands for everything she hates, her instant attraction catches Abbie off-guard…

It’s common knowledge that the Known Universe revolves around Ravena—and that Ravena revolves around Roman Lyons, bred to lead since birth. Roman dreads his meeting with a defiant—if stunning—rabble-rouser. But, sometimes, headstrong personalities in the conference room make for hot-and-heavy, guilty trysts in private….

Now, Abbie will show Roman the parts of her world he wouldn’t otherwise get to see. And he’ll give her a glimpse of the Families’ age old tradition and unleash a sexuality he’d never given rein to before.

I read mostly contemps. I used to read a lot of rom suspense - dont read too many of those any more. I do read an occasional erotic or western historical.

A few years ago, I was reading 95% mysteries. Now I'm reading maybe 5% mysteries - the rest is urban fantasy and paranormal romance.

I've been reading historicals for years with a few mystery/suspense books thrown. About the only things that have changed about my reading are the time periods. I started with American Colonial & Revolution. Then on to the American South, both Antebellum & Civil War eras. Now, I read primarily English Regency with some Victorian, both English & American.

I really would like to find more books set in the 1800-1820 time period in America.

I've always read only fiction, but then I got into romances...starting with historicals. Now I read only romances, but read historical, contemporary, paranormal. As long it's a romance I'll read it.

I would love to win this book by Lauren Dane, she is one of my new finds and have not read this one yet...so please pick me :)

I used to read a wider variety of genres and I especially liked horror, but now I'm pretty much reading romances exclusively. I'm happy to see so many erotic romances being published, because they're my favorite.

I used to read nothing but romance. Now I read all genres but horror and non fiction.

Yes--I started out reading almost strictly contemporaries. I've since expanded to historicals, romantic suspense, and yep, even paranormals... Now I read just about anything except horror :) Lauren's latest sounds fantastic!

I have always read romance fiction type novels since I was a teenager. But over the years I have expanded more out so with the genre. I use to be more about only historicals and now I read anything from that era to romantic suspense, erotica, contemporary, etc. I have even been known to read a non-fiction if its interesting.
