No, I wouldn't buy a book because of a cover quote. Most of the time I don't even notice them.

The reason I already have this book on my wish list is because of the cover quote from Sherrilyn. I don't buy everything with a good cover quote, but I do tend to take a second look at books recommended by a favorite author.
Not really, I mostly go by recommendations and if the cover is absolutely gorgeous.

I'm not influenced by cover quotes but if there's one by Sherrilyn it can't hurt. She's my favorite author!
I'm not influence by cover quotes. Other factors influence my buying decision. But if I see a favorite author's left a quote I will pause and think.
Well it may catch my eye which would have me pick it up (half the battle) but the blurb on the back is a big deciding factor.
If it is an author whose work I really enjoy giving a cover quote, I will definitely pick up the book to thumb through. But it is the random reading of an excerpt that will influence me on whether to buy.
