I am not really into comfort reads. I guess the book I reread the most are from Jo Beverley, MJP, and Madeline Hunter.

I know it may sound funny but Anne Rice. I've got a thing for vampires and she is my favorite writer on the topic. I also like Jaci Burton. There are so many more that I read. I guess the wouldn't make anyone else feel conforted, but on a rainy day give me a warm fire, a warm blanket and one of these books and I'm in heaven.

Just to be able to grab a few minutes, sit down wih a nice cup of coffee, and read is a comfort to me. That is the way I relax. I can remember when my mother used to come home from work, sit down and knit. That was the way she relaxed. Usually though, I am so tired when I finally get to sit down and read I fall asleep. Sweet Surrender sounds like it would keep me awake.

Hi Patti. I thought maybe you were sick or away when I didn't see you around tonight at chats. I do hope you are resting a bunch! I'd love to be in this contest!

Some of my comfort reads are Maggie Osborne, Julianne MacLean, Jaci Burton, Susan Donovan, Judith McNaught. Seems I pick those I love to read too.

Usually its either historical or contemporary romances that give me a lot of comfort to read.

Hmmm... some of my comfort reads would be Susan Elizabeth Phillips (probably Heaven, Texas or Lady Be Good, specifically), or a historical by Lisa Kleypas. Maybe "Bet Me" by Jennifer Crusie. :) All lighthearted with great characters and endings.

Hi, A comfort read is something that takes me totally away from reality! If I am reading for total enjoyment, it has to be on the light side and have a happy ending! Thanks,Cindi
